Trustee Robert E.Wagner moved the following bills be allowed and paid and the Clerk be authorized to draw warrants for the same.(A certified copy of the bills read and allowed are on file in the office of the Town Clerk,under this date and made a part of the record of these proceedings by reference thereto). Trustee Dannels seconded the motion.The motion passed by the following votes:Those voting “Yes”Trustees Robert E.Burgess, Margaret Houston,H.Bernerd Dannels,Robert E.Wagner,James H. Swickard,Jack T.Rumley.Those voting “No’none. Trustee Robert E.Burgess,Chairman of the Light &Power Com mittee,read the minutes of a meeting held December 7,1978 and moved the minutes be approved.Trustee Houston seconded the motion and it passed unanimously. Trustee Robert E.Burgess introduced and the Town Administrator read in full the following entitled ordinance and Trustee Burgess moved the ordinance be passed and adopted on first and final reading: AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTIONS 13.12.020 C, 13.12.030 C,13.12.040 C,13.12.050 C AND D, 13.12.060 C AND D,13.12.070 B AND D,13.12.080 C AND D,AND 13.12.090 C DF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE TOWN OF ESTES PARK,COLORADO,RELATING TO LIGHT AND POWER RATE SCHEDULES CONTAINING CHARGES FOR THE SERVICE OF ELECTRIC POWER AND ENERGY BY THE LIGHT AND POWER DEPARTMENT OF THE TOWN OF ESTES PARK,COLORADO. Trustee Houston seconded the motion.The motion passed by the following votes:Those voting “Yes”Trustees Jack T.Rumley, Robert E.Wagner,Margaret Houston,James H.Swickard,H. Bernerd Dannels,Robert E.Burgess.Those voting “No’none. Whereupon Mayor Harry B.Tregent declared said ordinance duly passed and adopted and ordered it numbered 30-78 and published according to law. Nicky Kane appeared before the Board of Trustees and requested the Town adopt some form of regulation to control and quarantee the performance of restaurant equipment.Mayor Tregent referred this matter to the Code and Sanitation Committee. Trustee H.Bernerd Dannels introduced the following resolution and moved it be passed and adopted: RESOLUTION BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE TOWN OF ESTES PARK,COLORADO: That the Mayor and Town Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to sign the agreement by and between the Town of Estes Park and the Colorado Department of Local Affairs regarding $8,000 funding from the State for base mapping purposes of the Estes Park area. Trustee Rumley seconded the motion.The motion passed by the following votes:Those voting “Yes”Trustees H.Bernerd Dannels, Robert E.Burgess,James H.Swickard,Jack T.Rumley,Margaret Houston,Robert E.Wagner.Those voting “No”none. Trustee Robert E.Wagner moved that H.Bernerd Dannels be nominated to the Nominating Committee of Larimer—Weld Regional Council of Governments for the office of Chairman and Vice Chairman.Trustee Houston seconded the motion and it passed by the following votes: Those voting “Yes”Trustees Jack T.Rumley,Margaret Houston, Robert E.Wagner,Robert E.Burgess,James H.Swickard.Those voting “No”none.Trustee H.Bernerd Dannels abstained with per mission from the Board. Board of Trustees —December 12,1978 -Page Three Trustee Robert E.Burgess introduced the following resolution and moved it be passed and adopted: RE SO LU TIC N BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES CF THE TOWN CF ESTES PARK,COLORADO: That the Board of Trustees of the Town of Estes Park accepts the Articles and ByLaws for the Larimer-Weld Regional Council of Governments as amended. Trustee Houston seconded the motion and the motion passed by the following votes:Those voting “Yes”Trustees Robert E. Wagner,James H.Swickard,H.Bernerd Dannels,Margaret Houston, Robert E.Burgess,Jack T.Runley.Those voting “No”none. In accordance with Section 2.44.010 of the Municipal Code, Trustee Dannels moved the following officers be appointed for the Estes Park Volunteer Fire Department: Fire Chief Jack T.Rumley Assistant Fire Chief .Ron Eastwood Secretary/Treasurer ..Bob Dike Trustee Wagner seconded the motion and it passed by the fol lowing votes:Those voting “Yes”Trustees Robert E.Burgess, Margaret Houston,Robert E.Wagner,James H.Swickard,H. Trustee Margaret Houston introduced and the Town Administrator read in full the following entitled ordinance and Trustee Houston moved the ordinance be passed and adopted on first and final reading: AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTIONS 2.48.070 AND 2.48.090 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE TOWN OF ESTES PARK,COLORADO,THE SAME PERTAINING TO THE POLICEMEN’S PENSION FUND. Trustee Rumley seconded the motion.The motion passed by the following votes:Those voting “Yes”Trustees Robert E. Burgess,H.Bernerd Dannels,James H.Swickard,Jack T.Rumley, Margaret Houston,Robert E.Wagner.Those voting “No”none. Whereupon Mayor Harry B.Tregent declared said ordinance duly passed and adopted and ordered it numbered 33-7 8 and published according to law. Trustee Robert E.Burgess moved the liquor license renewal for Die Alte Delikatessen be approved.Trustee Wagner seconded the motion and it passed unanimously. Trustee Robert E.Wagner moved the application for driveways submitted by Dwayne P.Herman at 150 East Riverside Drive be approved upon the condition that he install curb,gutter and sidewalks along the entire length of his property.Trustee Swickard seconded the motion and it passed unanimously.Mr. Herman agreed to the condition imposed by the Board of Trustees.
