Park,Larimer County,Colorado.Meeting held in the Town Hall in said Town of Estes Park
on the .241h day of A.D.1918 at regular meeting

Minutes of the regular meeting held October 10,1978 were read
and approved as read.
Trustee H.Bernerd flannels,Chairman of the Public Works Committee,
read the minutes of a meeting held October 12,1978 and moved
the minutes be approved.Trustee Wagner seconded the motion and
it unanimously carried.
Trustee Robert E.Wagner,Chairman of the Water Committee,read
the minutes of a meeting held October 12,1978 and moved the
minutes be approved.Trustee Rumley seconded the motion and it
unanimously carried.
Mayor Harry B.Tregent conducted a public hearing on the proposed
annexation of the Venner Addition.Bill Karr of Estes Park
Surveyors appeared to answer questions concerning the annexation.
No other persons appeared speaking in favor of or in opposition
to the annexation.Mayor Harry B.Tregent declared the hearing
closed.
Trustee James H.Swickard introduced the following resolution and
moved it be passed and adopted:
RESOLUTION
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE TOWN OF
ESTES PARK,COLORADO:
The Board of Trustees of the Town of Estes Park,Colorado,
in accordance with Section 31—12—107 (1)(g),hereby states its
intention to annex the area described herein.The Board of
Trustees finds and determines that the petition is in substantial
compliance with Section 31—12—107 (1),C.R.S.1973,as amended,
and further finds and determines that the petition is signed by
the owners of one hundred percent (100%)of the area to be
annexed,exclusive of street and alleys.Such area,as annexed,
will be known as “Venner Addition”to the Town of Estes Park,
Colorado.Such area is described as follows:
Commencing at the East ¼corner of Section 25,Township 5 North,
Range 73 West of the 6th P.M.,with all bearings relative to the
East line of the Southeast ¼of said Section 25 considered as
bearing S 00°29’OO”W;thence S 00°29’OO”W a distance of 995.96
feet along the East line of said Southeast ¼to the TRUE POINT OF
BEGINNING;thence due West a distance of 301.97 feet;thence S
73°15’OO”Wa distance of 207.64 feet;thence S 43°2O’OO”E a
distance of 76.44 feet;thence S 12°52’OO”E a distance of 416.68
feet;thence S 05°57’OO”E a distance of 102.12 feet to a point
on the North line of the United States Government land recorded
in Book 808 at Page 526 in the Larimer County Records;thence
N 89°57’19”E a distance of 341.10 feet along the North line of

Park,Larimer County,Colorado.Meeting held in the Town Hall in said Town of Estes Pork
on the day of A.D.19 at regular meeting

said United States Government land to a point on the East line of the
Southeast ¼of said Section 25 from which point the Southeast corner
of said Section 25 bears S 0O029t00 W a distance of 1012.80 feet;
thence N 0O29’00”B a distance of 621.53 feet along the East line of
the Southeast ¼of said Section 25 to the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING.
Trustee Burgess seconded the motion.The motion passed by the
following votes:Those voting “Yes”H.Bernerd Dannels,James
H.Swickard,Margaret Houston,Robert E.Wagner,Jack T.Rumley,
Robert E.Burgess.Those voting “No”none.
Trustee Robert E.Wagner introduced and the Town Clerk read in
full the following entitled ordinance and Trustee Wagner moved
the ordinance be passed and adopted on first and final reading:
AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE ANNEXATION OF
CERTAIN TERRITORY TO THE TOWN OF ESTES PARK,
COLORADO,TO BE KNOWN AND DESIGNATED AS
“XTENR ADDITION”TO THE TOWN OF ESTES PARK,
COLORADO.
Trustee Rumley seconded the motion.The motion passed by the
following votes:Those voting “Yes”Margaret Houston,Jack T.
Rumley,James H.Swickard,H.Bernerd Dannels,Robert E.Wagner,
Robert E.Burgess.Those voting “No”none.Whereupon Mayor
Harry B.Tregent declared said ordinance duly passed and adopted
and ordered it numbered 24—78 and published according to law.
An application was submitted by Rock Ridge Development for a
curb cut onto Elm Avenue from Lot 14,Block 6,Country Club
Manor.This portion of Elm Avenue has never been developed
into a street.Mayor Harry B.Tregent tabled the request until
the next meeting to enable the staff to further review the
request.
An application for an extended hours liquor license was received
from United Hotel Management Company dba the Inn at Estes Park.
Trustee Robert E.Burgess moved the application be approved.
Trustee Wagner seconded the motion and it passed unanimously.
There being no further business,the meeting adjourned.
