Minutes of a meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Town of Estes
Pork,LQrimer County,Colorado.Meeting held in the Town Hall in said Town of Estes Park
on the iid day of AU5 A.D.19.7.8 at regular meeting
hour.
Meeting called to order by Moyor JYEY

Minutes of the regular meeting held August 8,1978 were read and
approved as read.
Trustee Robert E.Wagner,Chairman of the Water Committee,read
the minutes of a meeting held August 10,1978 and moved the
minutes be approved.Trustee Dannels seconded the motion.The
motion passed unanimously.
Trustee Wagner also read the minutes of a Water Committee meeting
held August 17,1978 and moved the minutes be approved.Trustee
Dannels seconded the motion and it unanimously carried.
Trustee H.Bernerd Dannels,Chairman of the Public Works Committee,
read the minutes of a meeting held August 17,1978 and moved the
minutes be approved.Trustee Houston seconded the motion and it
unanimously carried.
Trustee Margaret Houston,Chairwoman of the Advertising &Public
Relations Committee,read the minutes of a meeting held August
21,1978 and moved the minutes be approved.Trustee Dannels
seconded the motion and the motion passed unanimously.
Town Administrator Dale G.Hill read the minutes of the Estes Park
Planning Commission meeting held August 15,1978.
Al Sager,Chairman of the Estes Park Planning Commission,reported
on recent activities of the Planning Commission with emphasis on
the progress being made on the Central Business District study
proposal.
Mayor Harry B.Tregent conducted a public hearing on the proposed
ordinance which would clarify what is permitted by special review
in each zone.Town Administrator Hill,on behalf of the Town
staff,spoke in favor of the proposed ordinance and submitted a
letter datedMay 30,1978 from Assistant Town Attorney Babcock.
No persons appeared speaking in opposition and no further corre
spondence was received.Mayor Harry B.Tregent declared the
hearing closed.Trustee Robert E.Burgess moved adoption of the
ordinance be tabled until the uses permitted by special review
are determined.Trustee Wagner seconded the motion and it unani
mously earned.
Bill Van Horn presented the Booth Resubdivision of Lots 2,3,4,
5,and 7,and portions of Lots 1,6,8,and 9,Elkhorn Estates,
which divides Mr.Booth’s portion of Elkhorn Estates into two
lots and relocates the road.Trustee Robert E.Wagner moved the
Booth Resubdivision be approved.Trustee Swickard seconded the
motion and it unanimously carried.
Bill Van Horn also presented a plat of the Deats Resubdivision
which proposes to divide Lot 5,Block 1,Country Club Manor into
two parcels and to add each resulting parcel onto the adjoining
lots 4 and 6.Trustee Margaret Houston moved the Deats Resub—
division be approved.Trustee Rumley seconded the motion and it
unanimously carried.

Bill Karr,on behalf of petitioner Don Bender,presented the plat
of the division of Tract 96,Fall River Addition into two tracts
of 5.50 and 8.68 acres.Trustee James Ii.Swickard moved the lot
division be granted.Trustee Burgess seconded the motion and it
unanimously carried.
Town Administrator Hill presented an application for a change in
ownership of a Retail Liquor Store license from Eric M.Render
to Rubert Lee Yoder dba Estes Park Liquor.Trustee Robert E.
Wagner moved the change of ownership be approved.Trustee
Swickard seconded the motion and it unanimously carried.
Dean Kell submitted an application for three curb cuts of 18 feet,
twenty feet,and eighteen feet from Lots 25 &26,Block 7,Country
Club Manor onto Driftwood Avenue.The three requested curb cuts
will provide access to the off—street parking for the proposed
triplex.Trustee James R.Swickard moved the curb cut request
be granted.Trustee Wagner seconded the motion and it unanimously
carried.
A request was submitted by Faith Chapel to use Bond Park on
Sunday,August 27,1978 for a Gospel Sing from 1:30 p.m.to
4:45 p.m.Trustee Margaret Rouston moved the request be granted.
Trustee Rumley seconded the motion and it unanimously carried.
There being no further business,the meeting adjourned.
