Trustee N.T.Petrocine moved the following bills be allowed and paid and the Clerk be authorized to draw warrants for same.(A certified copy of the bills read and allowed are on file in the office of the Town Clerk under this date and made a part of the record of these proceedings by reference thereto.)Trustee Wagner seconded the motion.The motion passed by the following votes:Those voting “Yes”Trustees Robert E.Burgess,Robert E. Wagner,N.T.Petrocine,H.Bernerd Dannels,Rollen Sutter.Those voting “No”none. Trustee Robert E.Burgess,Chairman of the Public Safety Committee, read the minutes of a meeting held November 23,1977 and moved the minutes be approved.Trustee Sutter seconded the motion and it passed unanimously. Trustee Robert E.Burgess introduced and the Clerk read in full the following entitled ordinance: AN ORDINANCE FOR THE REGULATION OF TRAFFIC BY THE TOWN OF ESTES PARK,COLORADO,FOR THE PUR POSE OF PROVIDING A SYSTEM OF TRAFFIC REGULA TIONS CONSISTENT WITH STATE LAW AND GENERALLY CONFORMING TO SIMILAR REGULATIONS THROUGHOUT THE STATE AND THE NATION;ADOPTING BY REFERENCE THE 1977 REVISED EDITION OF THE “MODEL TRAFFIC CODE FOR COLORADO MUNICIPALITIES”;REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT THEREWITH;PROVIDING PENALTIES FOR VIOLATION THEREOF;AND AMENDING SECTION 10.04.010 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE TOWN OF ESTES PARK,COLORADO. Trustee Robert E.Burgess moved a public hearing on said ordi nance be set for January 10,1978.Trustee Sutter seconded the motion and it passed unanimously. Trustee N.T.Petrocine,Chairman of the Light &Power Committee, read the minutes of a meeting held December 1,1977 and moved the minutes be approved.Trustee Wagner seconded the motion and it passed unanimously. Trustee N.T.Petrocine,Chairman of the Administrative Committee, read the minutes of a meeting held November 10,1977 and moved the minutes be approved.Trustee Wagner seconded the motion and the motion unanimously carried. Trustee N.T.Petrocine also read the minutes of an Administrative Committee meeting held November 29,1977 and moved the minutes be approved.Trustee Dannels seconded the motion and it passed unani mously. Trustee Dannels seconded the motion and it passed unanimously. Trustee Rollen Sutter,Chairman of the Estes Park Board of Adjustment,read the minutes of a meeting held December 1,1977. Trustee Robert E.Wagner introduced and the Clerk read the fol lowing entitled ordinance and Trustee Wagner moved it be passed and adopted on second and final reading: AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTERS 17.16 AND 17.20 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE TOWN OF ESTES PARK, COLORADO,RELATING TO THE REZONING OF TRACTS fl22AND23,FALL RIVER ADDITION,TOWN OF ESTES PARK,COLORADO. Trustee Sutter seconded the motion.The motion passed by the following votes:Those voting “Yes”Trustees Robert E.Burgess, H.Bernerd flannels,N.T.Petrocine,Rollen Sutter,Robert E. Wagner.Those voting “No”none.Whereupon Mayor Harry B. Tregent declared said ordinance duly passed and adopted and ordered it numbered 23—77 and published according to law. Trustee N.T.Petrocine moved the following public hearings be scheduled for the ordinance amending Section 17.64.040 of the Municipal Code relating to payment in lieu of parking spaces: Planning Commission ...January 17,1978 Board of Trustees ....January 24,1978 Trustee flannels seconded the motion and it unanimously carried. Meeling called to order by Mayor Present,Mayor Trustees: Also Present: Absent: Trustee N.P.Petrocine moved the liquor license renewal applica tion for the Stanley Hotel be approved.Trustee Dannels seconded the motion and it passed unanimously. The Town Administrator read aloud letters received from the President of the Library Board recommending Vedra Erickson to fill the vacancy on the Library Board and from Dave Thomas expressing his interest in serving on the Library Board.Trustee H.Bernerd Dannels moved Vedra Erickson be appointed to the Library Board for a five year term beginning on January 1,1978. Trustee Wagner seconded the motion.The motion passed unanimously. Trustee Robert H.Burgess introduced the following resolution and moved it be passed and adopted: RESOLUTION BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOAIW OF TRUSTEES OF THE TOWN OF ESTES PARK,COLORADO: That the Mayor and Town Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to sign the contract identified as “Sos 0006 (2)East Riverside Drive in Estes Park”between the Town of Estes Park and the State of Colorado. Trustee Dannels seconded the motion.The motion passed by the following votes:Those voting “Yes”Trustees H.Bernerd Dannels, Robert E.Wagner,Rollen Sutter,N.P.Petrocine.Robert E. Burgess.Those voting “No”none. Mayor Harry B.Tregent recommended Robert E.Burgess be appointed to the Human Resources Board.Trustee H.Bernerd Dannels moved the appointment be approved.Trustee Petrocine seconded the motion. The motion passed by the following votes:Those voting “Yes” Trustees H.Bernerd Dannels,N.T.Petrocine,Robert E.Wagner, Rollen Sutter.Those voting “No”none.Trustee Robert E.Burgess abstained with permission from the Board. Mayor Harry B.Tregent recommended John IV.Easley,Jr.be appointed as Assistant Municipal Judge.Trustee H.Bernerd Dannels moved the appointment be approved.Trustee Petrocine seconded the motion.
