Trustee Robert E.Burgess moved the following bills be allowed and paid and the Clerk be authorized to draw warrants for thesame.(A certified copy of the bills read and allowed are on file in the office of the Town Clerk under this date and made apartoftherecordoftheseproceedingsbyreferencethereto). Trustee Dannels seconded the motion.Upon roll call the motionpassedbythefollowingvotes:Those voting “Yes”Trustees N.T. Petrocine,Robert E.Burgess,Rollen Sutter,Margaret Houston,Robert E.Wagner,H.Bernerd Dannels.Those voting “No”none. Mayor Harry B.Tregent announced that the County referral re garding the Boles/Younglund/Ritchie rezoning request of nineacresjustnorthoftheStorerRanchwouldbetabledtilla later Board of Trustees or Planning Commission meeting. Mayor Harry B.Tregent proceeded to conduct a public hearing regardingtheapplicationforaBeerandWineLicensesubmittedbyPeterJ.and Opal M.Calabrese dba Parlour Restaurant and Deliat351SouthSaintVramHighway.Peter J.Calabrese spoke in favor of the license application and submitted to the Board aletterdatedJune15,1977 from Randall S.and Rebecca S.Harris (marked Exhibit 2)and a petition (marked Exhibit 1).Mr.DonWhitemanalsospokeinfavoroftheapplication.There were no persons present speaking in opposition and no correspondence wasreceivedregardingtheliquorlicense.Mayor Harry B.Tregent declared the hearing closed. Trustee H.Bernerd Dannels moved the Board of Trustees finds thatthereasonablerequirementsoftheneighborhoodaresuchthat a Beer and Wine License should be granted and that the license isgranted.Trustee Wagner seconded the motion.Upon roll call the motion passed by the following votes:Those voting “Yes”TrusteesN.‘P.Petrocine,Rollen Sutter,Robert E.Wagner,Margaret Houston, H.Bernerd Dannels,Robert E.Burgess.Those voting “No”none. Matt Delich,COG Transportation Planning Project Manager,presentedtotheBoardrecommendationsoftheLarimerCountyAdHocCommittee on transportation.These recommendations have been endorsed by theCOGGoverningBoard,the COG Land Use and Transportation Planning Committee,and the Area Agency on Aging Committee and are beingpresentedtolocalgovernmentsasafirststepinimprovingtrans portation services to the elderly,handicapped,and low income. Trustee H.Bernerd flannels introduced the following resolutionandmoveditbepassedandadopted: fl BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOABIJ OF TRUSTEES OF ThE TOWN OF ESTES PARK,COLORADO: That the Mayor and Town Clerk be and they are hereby autho rized to execute for and on behalf of the Town of Estes Park, Colorado,upon final approval of the Town Attorney,the License to construct and operate the substation at Marys Lake with the United States of America Bureau of Reclamation. Trustee Burgess seconded the motion.Upon roll call the motionpassedbythefollowingvotes:Those voting “Yes”Trustees N.T.Petrocine,Robert E.Burgess,Rollen Sutter,Margaret Houston,Robert E.Wagner,H.Bernerd flannels.Those voting “No”none. The Board of Trustees again considered a request submitted byKSIRNewsDirectorCharlesRankintohookontothemicrophonesystemintheBoardRoom.Trustee Robert E.Wagner moved therequestbegranted.Trustee Houston seconded the motion.Uponrollcallthemotionpassedbythefollowingvotes:Thosevoting“Yes”Trustees H.Bernerd flannels,Margaret Houston,Robert E.Wagner,N.T.Petrocine.Those voting “No”TrusteesRobertE.Burgess,Rollen Sutter. A request was submitted by the Alternate Energy Institute to useBondParkonJuly14,15,21,and 22,1977 for display of solarenergyhardware.Trustee N.T.Petrocine moved the request begranted.Trustee Wagner seconded the motion and upon roll callthemotionunanimouslycarried. A request was submitted by the American Legion Auxilary to useBondParkonJuly21,1977 for a dance performance by the OglalaSiouxIndians.Trustee Rollen Sutter moved the request be granted.Trustee Wagner seconded the motion and upon roll call the motionunanimouslycarried. Meeting coiled to order by Mayor Present:Moyor Trustees: Also Present: Absent: Father King appeared requesting to use Bond Park for religious concerts beginning July 23rd from 2:00 p.m.to 4:00 p.m.and continuing each Saturday thereafter through the end of August. Trustee Robert E.Burgess moved the request be granted.Trustee Houston seconded the motion and upon roll call the motion unani mously carried. A request was submitted by the Accommodations Association to use Bond Park on August 13,1977 for a bake sale to raise money for the fight against Muscular Dystrophy.Trustee N.T.Petrocine moved the request be granted.Trustee Wagner seconded the motion and upon roll call the motion unanimously carried. Trustee N.T.Petrocine introduced the following resolution and moved it be passed and adopted: RESOLUTION BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF ThE TOWN OF ESTES PARK,COLORADO: That the Town Administrator,Dale Hill,be and hereby is authorized to represent the Town of Estes Park,including the execution of all necessary documents,relative to the purchase from Effie Burks by the Town of the following described real property located in the County of Larimer,State of Colorado: Commonly known as 280 West Riverside Drive, Estes Park,Colorado. Further,said Administrator is hereby authorized to pur chase this property for the sum of $47,000.00,plus any ab stracting and legal expenses. Monies for the payment of said purchase price shall be drawn on the funds of the Town by said Administrator as follows: $28,720.00 —61%—#450.2 General Fund,Greenbelt Purchases 15,980.00 —34%—430.1 General Fund,Parking Lot Purchases 2,300.00 —5%—Conservation Trust Fund, ____________ Greenbelt Purchases $47,000.00 Passed by the Board of Trustees of the Town of Estes Park this 12th day of July,1977. The Board of Appeals considered a variance request submitted by H.B.Dannels and Sons,Inc.to allow a 28”wide bathroom door of a residence instead of 30”.Trustee Robert F.Burgess moved the variance be granted.Trustee Sutter seconded the motion.
