Minutes of the regular meeting held March 23,1976 were read and approved as read. Trustee Robert E.Wagner moved the following hills be allowed and paid and the Clerk be authorized to draw warrants for same. (A Certified copy of the bills read and allowed are on file in the office of the Town Clerk under this date and made a part of the record of these proceedings by reference thereto.)Trustee flannels seconded the motion.Upon roll call the motion passed by the following votes:Those voting “Yes”Trustees Robert E. A letter was received from Johnson &Higgins of Colorado,Inc. regarding appointment of their firm as the Town’s insurance broker on the Police Professional Liability policy.Assistant Town Attorney,Gregory A.White,had reviewed the letter and advised the Town not to appoint the firm as insurance broker on that policy in order to allow the Town flexibility in ob taining future coverage.Trustee N.T.Petrocine moved the Town submit a letter to Johnson 8 Higgins of Colorado,Inc. in accordance with Mr.White’s advice.Trustee flannels seconded the motion.Upon roll call the motion unanimously carried. The Estes Park Horse Show and Rodeo Committee submitted a request for permission to place a plaque in the lobby of the Municipal Building.The plaque would be about 12”x 18”and contain the names of the past Rodeo Queens.All future queens’names would be added to the plaque.Trustee Robert E.Wagner moved the request be tabled until the next regular meeting of the Board of Trustees.Trustee Houston seconded the motion.Upon roll call the motion unanimously carried. Meeting called to order by Mayor Present:Mayor Trustees, Also Present, Absent, A letter was received from Jack V.Story requesting that the Broadmoor High School choir of Baton Rouge,Louisiana be per mitted to perform in Bond Park on June 4,1976.Trustee Robert E.Burgess moved the request be granted.Trustee Wagner seconded the motion.Upon roll call the motion unanimously carried. Town Administrator,Dale Hill,requested permission to allow the Police Department to continue monitoring the three rural silent alarms (Binns,Dr.Gruys,and Dark Horse Leather)until July 13, 1976.He statedthat progress is being made but that an extension is necessary in order to complete the establishment of an inter governmental contract.Trustee Rollen Sutter moved the extension be granted.Trustee Burgess seconded the motion.Upon roll call the motion unanimously carried. A letter was received from the Larimer County Commissioners’of fice requesting permission to place signs identifying the location of the Sheriff’s office in the Municipal Building.Mayor Harry B. Tregent referred this request to the Public Safety Committee.
