Minutes of a iP.gIi4r meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Town of Estes
Park,Larimer County,Colorado.Meeting held in the Town Hall in said Town of Estes Park

Minutes of the regular meeting held August 12,1975 were read and
approved as read.
An application regarding the sale of stock in the Rocky Mountain
Drive—In Liquors,Inc.to Michael and Diane Rambeau was resubmitted
to the Board of Trustees for its consideration.Attorney James
Littlejohn,Joseph Bobich,Michael Rambeau,and Diane Rambeau were
all present in favor of the request.Trustee H.Bernerd Dannels
moved that the sale of stock be approved.Trustee Wagner seconded
the motion.Upon roll call the motion unanimously carried.
The Firemen’s Pension Fund and Annual Report were presented to the
Board.The Clerk reported that the Firemen’s Pension Fund Balance
as of August 31,1975 was $40,980.49.Trustee N.T.Petrocine
moved the Firemen’s Pension Fund report be approved.Trustee
Prosser seconded the motion.Upon roll call the motion unanimously
carried.
Trustee Glenn Prosser,Chairman of the Estes Park Planning Commis
sion,read the minutes of a meeting held August 19,1975.
A request for a single 35’curb cut in Lot 51,Grand Estates,sub
mitted by Lou Canaiy at the previous Board of Trustees meeting and
referred to the Planning Commission,was again brought before the
Board for its consideration.Trustee Robert E.Burgess moved the
curb cut be approved.Trustee Wagner seconded the motion.Upon
roll call the motion unanimously carried.
A request for a lot split of Lot 49,Grand Estates,submitted by
Robert L.Utterback,was submitted to the Board.Trustee Wagner
moved the proposal for a lot split of Lot 49,Grand Estates be
denied.Trustee Prosser seconded the motion.Upon roll call the
motion unanimously carried.
Trustee H.Bernerd Dannels,Chairman of the Public Works Committee,
read the minutes of a meeting held August 21,1975 and moved the
minutes be approved.Trustee Petrocine seconded the motion.Upon
roll call the motion unanimously carried.
Harry “Corky”Rogers,Manager of the Chamber of Commerce,appeared
before the Board to report on the financial status of the Chamber
of Commerce regarding the Tourist Information Center.He stated
that the Chamber was $8,985.58 short of its $35,000 goal but expected
$6,238.33 in pledges and has been guaranteed bank loans up to $9,000.
He also presented the artist’s conception of the building which is
to be displayed in the Municipal Building lobby and various other
buildings throughout the Town.Trustee Robert E.Wagner moved that
permission be granted to proceed with bids for the Tourist Information
Center in mid—September.Trustee Dannels seconded the motion.Upon
roll call the motion unanimously carried.

Park,Larimer County,Colorado Meeting held in the Town Hall in said Town of Estes Park

Trustee Robert F.Burgess,Chairman of the Public Safety Committee,
read the minutes of a meeting held August 22,1975 and moved the
minutes be approved.Trustee Sutter seconded the motion.Upon
roll call the motion unanimously carried.
Bids for the construction of 1460’of 4”water main,miscellaneous
valves,B water service reconnections on Virginia Drive and 1250’
of 4”water main,miscellaneous valves and hydrants and water ser
vice reconnection on Avalon Drive were submitted to the Board of
Trustees.Trustee Prosser moved the Town of Estes Park award the
bid to the lowest responsible bidder according to the advice of
DMJM -Phillips—Reister,the Town’s consulting Engineers.Trustee
Dannels seconded the motion.Upon roll call the motion unanimously
carried.
Mr.Oliver appeared before the Board to express concerns of dog
control in the Town of Estes Park.He requested that the leash
law apply to all zones within the Town and that the “two dogs per
yard”law be enforced.He also brought out other problems pertaining
to his property area and asked the Board to give all these items
serious consideration.
There being no further business,it was regularly moved,seconded
and carried the meeting adjourn.
