Trustee H.Bernerd Dannels moved the following bills be allowed and paid and the Clerk be authorized to draw warrants for same.(A Certified Copy of the bills read and allowed are on file in the office of the Town Clerk under this date and made a part of the record of these proceedings by reference thereto.)Trustee Glenn Presser seconded the motion.Upon roll call the motion passed by the following votes.Those voting “Yes” Trustees Robert E.Burgess,H.Bernerd Dannels,Glenn Prosser,Rollen Sutter.Those voting “No”none. Miss Susan Smith,Rotary Exchange Student from Australta,was given a proclamation by Mayor Tregent upon her completion of one years residency in Estes Park. The Clerk presented an agreement between the Town of Estes Park and Phillips,Carter,Reister and Associates for architectural and engineer ing services in regard to the new Municipal Building.Trustee Robert E. Burgess moved the Mayor be authorized to sign the above mentioned agree ment.Trustee H.Bernerd flannels seconded the motion.Upon roll call the motion unanimously carried. The Board of Trustees proceeded to conduct a public hearing regarding the proposed change in zoning of Lot 5,Piltz Resubdivision of Lot 23, Block 10 and Lots 25 and 26,Block 8 of the Town of Estes Park,from the existing R—2 Multiple Family Residence District to C—I Commercial District.There were no persons present speaking either for or against the proposed rezoning.Mayor Harry B.Tregent declared the hearing closed. Trustee H.Bernerd flannels introduced the following resolution and moved it be passed and adopted: RESOLUTION BE IT RESOLVED BY ThE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF ThE TOWN OF ESThS PARK, CO mRAoo: That the Estes Park,Colorado’s Master Plan,dated December 19, lg72,together with all corrected maps,plats,charts and descriptive matter included therein,be and the same are hereby adopted by the Board of Trustees of the Town of Estes Park,Colorado,as a Master Plan for the physical development of the Town of Estes Park and the areas outside of its boundaries included within said Master Plan;and the Board of Trustees of the Town of Estes Park recommends to the County Commissioners of the County of Larimer,State of Colorado,that they approve said Master Plan together with all maps,plats,charts and descriptive matter included therein. Mayor Tregent explained to the Board of Trustees the necessity of having a quorum present at each meeting.Mayor Tregent expressed his opinion that the individual board members had assumed this obligation when they consented to election and that they should take it upon themselves to arrange their vacations and absences from the meetings so that quorums are present at all meetings.
