Trustee Robert E.Wagner moved the following bills be allowed and paid and the Clerk be authorized to draw warrants for same.(A Certified Copy of the bills read and allowed are on file in the office of the Town Clerk under this date and made a part of the record of these proceedings by reference thereto.)Trustee H.Bernerd flannels seconded the motion.Upon roll call the motion passed by the following votes.Those voting “Yes”Trustees Robert E.Burgess,H.Bernerd flannels, N.T.Petrocine,Glenn Prosser,Rollen Sutter,Robert E.Wagner.Those voting “No”none. Trustee Robert E.Burgess moved that the liquor license renewal application, submitted by Dr.Harry L.Schroeder dba Edel Haus,be approved.Trustee Rollen Sutter seconded the motion.Upon roll call the motion unanimously carried. Trustee H.Bernerd flannels introduced the following resolution and moved that it be passed and adopted: RESOLUTION BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE TOWN OF ESTES PARK, COlORADO: That all members of the Estes Park Police Department be,and they hereby are,authorized to issue and serve or cause to be served,notices as provided in Ordinance 29-73 of the Town of Estes Park,Colorado,and to carry out inspections in connection therewith,for and on behalf of the Board of Trustees of the Town of Estes Park,Colorado.- Trustee Robert B.Wagner seconded the motion.Upon roll call the motion passed by the following votes.Those voting “Yes”Trustees H.Bernerd flannels,N.T. Meeting called to order by Mayor Presentt Mayor Trustees: Also Present: Absent: Trustee Robert E.Wagner introduced the following Resolution and moved that it be passed and adopted: RESOLUTION WhEREAS,unforeseen conditions have developed within the Estes Park Public Library Fund and WHEREAS,said conditions will continue unless additional funds are provided in the budget for the year 1973,and WHEREAS,sufficient funds for the Estes Park Public Library were not provided in the 1973 budget,and WHEREAS,the Board of Trustees believes an emergency exists which could not have reasonably been foreseen at the time of the adoption of the budget for the year 1973,NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE TOWN OF ESmS PARK, COWRALXJ: That the sum of $1,500.00 for maintenance and improvements be expended for the Estes Park Publid Library Fund and that such sums be expended from funds to be received from Iarimer County and the State of Colorado in 1973. Trustee H.Bernerd Dannels,Chairman of the Public Works Coimnittee,read the minutes of the meeting held on December 5,1973,and moved that the minutes be approved and adopted.Trustee Glenn Prosser seconded the motion.Upon roll call the motion unanimously carried. Trustee Robert E.Burgess moved that Mr.Jack Ford be appointed to the position of Street Superintendent effective December 17,1973.Trustee H.Bernerd flannels seconded the motion.Upon roll call the motion unanimously carried. Trustee N.T.Petrocine,Chariman of the Light and Power Counnittee,read the minutes of the meeting held on December 7,1973,and moved that the minutes be approved and adopted.Trustee Robert E.Burgess seconded the motion.Upon roll call the motion unanimously carried. Meeting called to order by Mayor. Present:Mayor Trustees: Also Present: Absent: Duane Blair appeared before the Board requesting a more strict enforcement of the parking ordinances on East Riverside Drive.Mayor Tregent instructed the Town Administrator and Trustee Robert E.Burgess to investigate this matter. The Board of Trustees conducted a lengthy discussion on the energy crisis and its possible effects on the economy of Estes Park,Mayor Tregent will direct correspondence to all of Estes Park National Representatives,pointing out Estes Park’s concern for its economic future.
