Trustee Henry D.flannels moved the following bills be allowed and paid and the Clerk be authorized to draw warrants for same.(A Certified copy of the bills read and allowed are on file in the office of the Tdwn Clerk under this date and made a part of the record of these proceedings by reference thereto.)Trustee N.T.Petrocine seconded the motion. Upon roll call the motion passed by the following votes.Those voting ‘Yes”Trustees Henry D.flannels,N.T.Petrocine,Glenn Prosser,Marvin L.Steele,Harry B.Tregent.Those voting “No”none. Trustee Glenn Prosser introduced and the Town Clerk read in full,the following entitled ordinance and Trustee Prosser moved it be passed on second and final reading: AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 12.4-7 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE TOWN OF ESTES PARK,COLORADO,THE SAME PERTAINING TO ZONING. Trustee Marvin L.Steele seconded the motion.Upon roll call the motion passed by the following votes.Those voting “Yes”Trustees Henry 0. Dannels,N.T.Petrocine,Glenn Prosser,Marvin L.Steele,Harry B. Tregent.Those voting “No”none.Whereupon Mayor Pro Tem Harry B. Tregent declared said ordinance duly passed and adopted and ordered it numbered 8—72 and published according to law. Mayor Pro Tem Harry B.Tregent proceeded to conduct a public hearing regarding the adoption of the National Electric Code.There were no persons present speaking in favor of or in opposition to the adoption of the code.Mayor Pro Tem Tregent declared the hearing closed. Trustee N.T.Petrocine introduced and the Town Clerk read in full,the following entitled ordinance and Trustee Petrocine moved it be passed on second and final reading: AN ORDINANCE FOR THE REGULATION OF ELECTRIC CONDUCTORS AND EQUIPMENT INSTALLED WITHIN OR ON PUBLIC AND PRIVATE BUILDINGS AND OTHER PREMISES,INCLUDING YARDS,CARNI VAL AND PARKING LOTS,AND INDUSTRIAL SUBSTATIONS,ALSO THE CONDUCTORS THAT CONNECT THE INSTALLATIONS TO A SUPPLY OF ELECTRICITY,AND OTHER OUTSIDE CONDUCTORS ADJACENT TO THE PREMISES,ALSO MOBILE HOMES AND RECREATIONAL VEHICLES WITHIN THE TOWN OF ESTES PARK,COLORADO;FOR THE PURPOSE OF SAFEGUARDING OF PERSONS AND OF BUILDINGS AND THEIR CONTENTS FROM HAZARDS ARISING FROM THE USE OF ELECTRI CITY FOR LIGHT,HEAT,POWER,RADIO,SIGNALLING AND OTHER PURPOSES;ADOPTING BY REFERENCE ThE NATIONAL ELECTRIC CODE,1971 EDITION;AMENDING SECTION 11.5 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF ThE TOWN OF ESTES PARK,COLORADO; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT THEREWITH;AND PROVIDING PENALTIES FOR VIOLATION THEREOF. Trustee N.T.Petrocine introduced and the Town Clerk read in full,the following entitled ordinance and Trustee Petrocine moved it be passed on second and final reading: AN ORDINANCE FOR THE REGULATION OF TRAFFIC BY THE TOWN OF ESTES PARK,COLORADO FOR THE PURPOSE OF PROVIDING A SYSTEM OF TRAFFIC REGULATIONS CONSISTENT WITH STATE MW AND GENERALLY CONFORMING TO SIMILAR REGULATIONS THROUGHOUT THE STATE AND TIlE NATION; ADOPTING BY REFERENCE THE 1971 EDITION OF THE”MODEL TRAFFIC CODE FOR COLORADO MUNICIPALITIES;”REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT THEREWITH;AND PROVIDING PENALITIES FOR VIOLATION THEREOF;AND AMENDING SECTION 19.1 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE TOWN OF ESTES PARK, COLORADO. The Clerk read the proposed rodeo agreement for 1972 between the Town of Estes Park and Walter Alsbaugh.Trustee Glenn Presser introduced the following resolution and moved it be passed and adopted: RESOLUTION BE I]?RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE TOWN OF ESTES PARK,COLORADO: That the Mayor and Clerk are authorized to sign the agreement, dated February 14,1972,by and between the Town of Estes Park and Walter Aisbaugh. Meeting called to order by Mayor Present:MoyDr Trustees: Also Present: Absent: The Clerk read a letter,dated January 27,1972,from Gerald H.Brownfield in which he submitted his resignation as a member of the Board of Trustees and the Estes Park Planning Commission.Trustee Henry D.Dannels moved the resignation be accepted.Trustee Marvin L Steele seconded the motion. Upon roll call the motion unanimously carried. The Clerk read a letter,dated February 9,1972,from Mayor Ronald C. Brodie to the Board of Trustees in which Mayor Brodie submitted the fol lowing suggestions for committee assignments: Code &Sanitation Committee:Trustee Steele,Chairman Board of Adjustment;Add Trustee Prosser in place of Trustee Brownfield Estes Park Planning Commission:Add Trustee Petrocine in place of Trustee Brownfield Trustee Henry D.Dannels moved that the Board of Trustees make the ap pointments as suggested by Mayor Brodie.Trustee Glenn Prosser seconded the motion.Upon roll call the motion unanimously carried. Mr.Morrison Heth,Trust Officer of the First National Bank of Loveland, appeared before the Board of Trustees asking consideration of a street vacate near Lot 12,Mocassin Addition.Mayor Pro Tem Harry B.Tregent referred this matter to the Public Works Committee. Trustee N.T.Petrocine,Chairman of the Administrative Committee,re ported on a committee meeting as itemized in the minutes of February 10,1972,and moved the minutes be accepted.Trustee Henry D.flannels seconded the motion.Upon roll call the motion unanimously carried. As per the legal publication,dated January 28,1972,the Board of Trustees proceeded to open the bids submitted for the sale of Lots 5 and 6,Buenna Vista Addition.One bid was received from the Range Realty acting for James H.and Nancy E.Swickard.This bid contained a proposal to purchase the property for a total amount of $70,000.00, payable as follows:$5,000 now,$25,000 on date of closing and $40,000 payable on or before March 14,1974.Mayor Pro Tem Harry B.Tregent referred this bid to the Public Works Committee for their consideration. Trustee Henry D.Dannels,Chairman of the Water Committee,reported on a committee meeting as itemized in the minutes of February 6,1972,and moved the minutes be accepted.Trustee Marvin L.Steele seconded the motion.Upon roll call the motion unanimously carried. The Estes Park Fire Department reported the officers for 1972 as follows: V.L.McCracken -Fire Chief Robert L.Dekker -Assistant Fire Chief John W.Ramey -Secretary-Treasurer The above three men are the fire department’s representatives on the Estes Park Firemen’s Pension Board.Trustee N.T.Petrocine moved that nftnt of gstes JUVh,Larimer County.Colorado.19. Trustee ilenry 0.flannels moved that authorization be granted to call for bids for one ton pickup,one patrol car and one l ton truck. Trustee N.T.Petrocine seconded the motion.Upon roll call the motion unanimously carried. Trustee Henry 0.Dannels introduced the following resolution and moved it be passed and adopted: RE SO LUT ION BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE TOWN OF ESTES PARK,COlORADO: That the Mayor and Clerk are authorized to sign Revision No. 9 to Exhibit A of Bureau of Reclamation Contract No.14—06—700—6157. Trustee N.T.Petrocine seconded the motion.Upon roll call the motion passed by the following votes.Those voting “Yes”Trustees Henry 0. Dannels,N.T.Petrocine,Glenn Prosser,Marvin L.Steele,Harry B. Trustee Marvin L.Steele moved that authorization be granted to advertise for the removal of the auditorium portion of the elementary school build ing recently purchased by the Town of Estes Park.Trustee Glenn Prosser seconded the motion.Upon roll call the motion unanimously carried.
