Dannels,N.T.Petrocine,Glenn Prosser,Harry B.Tregent, Marvin L.Steele Also Present:Town Administrator &Clerk Dale G.Hill Absent: Minutes of the regular meeting held June 22,1970,were read and approved as read. Trustee Henry D.flannels moved the following bills be allowed and paid and the Clerk be authorized to draw warrants for same.(A Certified copy of the bills read and allowed are on file in the office of the Town Clerk under this date and made a part of the record of these proceedings by reference thereto.)Trustee Gerald H.Brownfield seconded the motion. Upon roll call the motion passed by the following votes.Those voting “Yes”Trustees Gerald H.Brownfield,Henry D.flannels,N.T.Petrocine, Glenn Prosser,Natty B.Tregent,Marvin L.Steele.Those voting “No” none. Trustee Harry B.Tregent moved Mr.Leon H.Sweetland,Jr.,Superintendent of the Light and Power Department be appointed the Town’s official re presentative to the Platte River Municipal Power Association.Trustee Gerald H.Brownfield seconded the motion.Upon roll call the motion un animous ly carried. Light and Power Superintendent Leon H.Sweetland,Jr.gave a report to the Board of Trustees reviewing the history of the Platte River Municipal Power Association and explaining some of the future plans note under con sideration. Trustee Harry B.Tregent introduced the following ordinance and moved it be passed on first and final reading: AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 14 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE TOWN OF ESTES PARK,COWRADO,RElATING TO AUTHORIZING THE GRANTING OF A REVOCABLE PER}UT TO OPERATE WITHIN THE TOWN OF ESTHS PARK A SYSTEM FOR RECEPTION AND DISTRIBUTION OF PICThRES AND SOUNDS BY CABLE,SOMETIMES KNOWN AS COMMUNITY ANTENNA TELEVISION,AND PROVIDING CONDITIONS AND REGUlATIONS IN CONNECTION THEREWITH. Trustee Gerald H.Erownfield seconded the motion.Upon roll call the motion passed by the following votes.Those voting “Yes”Gerald H. Brownfield,Henry D.flannels,N.T.Petrocine,Glenn Prosser,Marvin L. Steele,Harry B.Tregent.Those voting “No”none.Whereupon Mayor Ronald C.Brodie declared said ordinance duly passed and adopted and ordered it numbered 12-70 and published according to law. Mr.Edward J.Hununer,attorney representing Estes Park CATV,Inc,and Mr.Alan R.Harmon,Executive Vice President of Daniels and Associa tes,Inc.,appeared before the Board of Trustees for the purpose of discussing the Community Antenna T.V.Agreements.Mr.Harmon informed the Board that his organization has now assumed management control of Estes Park CATV,Inc.Trustee Gerald H.Brownfield introduced the following resolution and moved it be passed and adopted: ‘Inftin of gstes 3flurk,Larimer County,Colorado.19. Minutes of a meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Town of Estes Park,Larimer County,Colorado.Meeting held in the Town Hall in said Town of Estes Park on the day of A.D.19....at regular meeting hour. Meeting called to order by Mayor Present:Mayor Trustees: Also Present: Absent: RESOLUTION BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE TOWN OF ESTES PARK, COLORADO That the agreement dated January 25,1965 by and between the Town of Estes Park and the Estes Park CATV,Inc.be extended to July 28, 1970. Trustee Harry B.Tregent seconded the motion.Upon roll call the motion passed by the following votes.Those voting “Yes”Trustees Gerald H. Brownfield,Henry D.Dannels,N.T.Petrocine,Glenn Prosser,Marvin L. Steele and Harry B.Tregent.Those voting “No”none. A letter,dated June 10,1970,from the Stanley Hotel requesting a re—fl fund of the Town liquor license was read to the Board of Trustees. Trustee Petrocine moved the request for the refund of the liquor license be denied.Trustee Tregent seconded the motion.Upon roll call the motion unanimously carried. Trustee Henry D.Dannels,Chairman of the Board of Adjustment,read the minutes of a Board of Adjustment meeting of June 23,1970,and moved that the minutes be accepted.Trustee Gerald H.Brownfield seconded the motion.Upon roll call the motion unanimously carried. Trustee Glenn Prosser,Chairman of the Advertising and Public Relations Committee,reported on an Advertising and Public Relations meeting as itemized in the minutes of June 29,1970 and moved the minutes be accepted. Trustee N.T.Petrocine seconded the motion.Upon roll call the motion unanimously carried. Trustee Henry B.Dannels,Chairman of the Water Committee,reported on a Water Connuittee meeting as itemized in the minutes of July 7,1970 and moved the minutes be accepted.Trustee Glenn Prosser seconded the motion.Upon roll call the motion unanimously carried. Trustee Henry P.Dannels,Chairman of the Water Committee,submitted a request to the Board of Trustees from the Everitt Lumber Company for two residential water taps at the following location:A portion of the Virginia D.Montegre property -SWk of the NE¾,S34T5N,R73W,6th P.M.,as surveyed and platted by James H.Andrews,Registered Engineer.Trustee Dannels moved the above request be granted.Trustee Marvin L.Steele seconded the motion.Upon roll call the motion unanimously carried.
