Home My WebLink AboutORDINANCE 26-980ORDINANCENO.26-98ORDNANCEADDINGCHAPTER2.78TOTHEMUNICIPALCODEESTABLISH[NGASEMORCENTERADVISORYBOARDBEITORDAINEDBYTHEBOARDOFTRUSTEESOFTHETOWNOFESTESPARIçCOLORADO.Section1.MunicipalCodeoftheTownofEstesParkisamendedbytheadditionofChapter2.78asfollows:SeniorCenter2.78.010SeniorCenterAdvisoryBoard(a)ThereiscreatedandestablishedaSeniorCenterAdvisorBoardconsistingofnine(9)members,whichshallbeappointedbytheMayorandapprovedbytheBoardofTrusteesforoverlappingtermsoftwo(2)yearsoruntiltheftsuccessorsarequalifiedandappointed.TheSeniorCenterDirectorandtheMuseumDirectorshallbeexofficiomembersoftheBoard.(b)TheSeniorCenterAdvisoryBoardshallbeanadvisoryboardfortheoperationoftheSeniorCenterandshallworkwiththeSeniorCenterDirectorinanadvisorycapacityfortheadministrationandoperationoftheSeniorCenter,including,butnotlimitedtodraftingpolicy,longrangeplanning,budgetandoperations.Section2.TheadoptionofthisordinanceisherebydeterminedtobedeclaredanemergencyinordertoimmediatelyconstitutetheAdvisoryBoard;andWHEREAS,intheopinionoftheBoardofTrustees,anemergencyexists,thisordinanceshalltakeeffectandbeenforcedimmediatelyafteritspassage,adoptionandsignatureoftheMayor.
