HomeMy WebLinkAboutRESOLUTION 34-93CRESOLUTIONNO.34-93BEITRESOLVEDBYTHEBOARDOFTRUSTEESOFTHETOWNOFESTESPARK,COLORADO:TheBoardofTrusteesoftheTownofEstesPark,Colorado,inaccordancewithSection31—12—107(1)(g),C.R.S.,herebystatesitsintentiontoannextheareadescribedherein.TheBoardofTrusteesfindanddeterminesthatthePetitionfiledwiththeTownrequestingannexationoftheareadescribedhereinisinsubstantialcompliancewithSection31—12—107(1)(g),C.R.S.TheBoardofTrusteesfurtherfindsanddeterminesthatthePetitionissignedbypersonscomprisingonehundred(100%)percentofthelandownersintheareaproposedtobeannexedandowningonehundred(100%)percentofthearea,excludingpublicstreets,andalleysandanylandownedbytheannexingmunicipality.Sucharea,ifannexed,willbeknownas“KENOFERADDITION”totheTownorEstesPark,Colorado.Suchareaisdescribedasfollows:PropertylocatedinSection25,Township5North,Range73Westofthe6thP.M.,LarimerCounty,Colorado,moreparticularlydescribedascommencingatapoint100feetWestoftheNortheastcorneroftheSoutheastIottheSouthwestofsaidSection25,saidpointbeingtruepointofbeginning;thenceWestalongtheNorthlineoftheSoutheastIoftheSouthwest*ofsaidSection25,adistanceof223.4feet;thenceSouthadistanceof673.5feet;thenceEastadistanceof223.4feet;thenceNorthadistanceof673.5feettothetruepointofbeginning.TheSouthlineoftheabovedescribedtracttobeparallelwiththeNorthlineoftheSoutheastoftheSouthwest*of oCsaidSection25.TheLastandWestlineoftheabovedescribedtracttobeparallelwiththeEastlineoftheSoutheast*oftheSouthwestofsaidSection25.KnownasNo.TBD,EstesPark,CO80517ITISFURTHERRESOLVED,thatinaccordancewithSection31—12—108,C.B.S.,apublichearingshallbeheldonJanuary25,1994,at7:30P.M.,intheMunicipalBuilding,locatedat170MacGregor,EstesPark,Colorado,forthepurposeofdeterminingiftheproposedannexationcomplieswiththeapplicableprovisionsofSections31—12—104and31—12—105,C.R.S.ITISFURTHERRESOLVED,thattheTownClerkshallgivethenoticeofthehearingasprovidedinSection31—12—108(2),C.B.S.ITISFURTHERRESOLVED,thattheplatoftheKenoferAdditionbereferredtothePlanningCommissiontobeginthenecessaryprocedurestomakethepropertysubjecttothezoningordinancesoftheTown.DATEDTHIS/f’dayof4jic±iJsJ,1993.$j_______TownClerk—2—
