Home My WebLink AboutRESOLUTION 37-99aCRESOLUTIONNO.37-99WHEREAS,Section31-30-1132,C.R.S.,providesthattheBoardofTrusteesoftheTownmaybyresolutiondeterminethattheEstesParkVolunteerFireDepartmentisinneedofadditionalVolunteerFirefighters;andWHEREAS,ifsuchneedexists,retiredVolunteerFireDepartmentmembersshallbecomeeligibletoserveasanactivevolunteerfirefighteroftheEstesParkVolunteerFireDepartment;andWHEREAS,theBoardofTrusteeshasdeterminedthatsuchaneeddoesexistforadditionalVolunteerFirefighters.NOW,THEREFORE,BEITRESOLVEDbytheBoardofTrusteesoftheTownofEstesPark,Colorado:1.ThereisaneedwithintheEstesParkVolunteerFireDepartmentforadditionalVolunteerFirefighters.2.AnyretiredVolunteerFireDepartmentmembershallbeeligibletoserveasanactiveVolunteerFirefighteroftheEstesParkVolunteerFireDepartment.3.AnyretiredVolunteerFireDepartmentmemberwhowishestoreturntoserviceasanactiveVolunteerFirefightershallmeetalltherequirementsoftheConstitution,By-lawsandrulesandregulationsoftheEstesParkVolunteerFireDepartment.4.AnyretiredVolunteerFirefighterwhoreturnstoserviceasanactiveVolunteerFirefightershallcontinuetoreceiveallpensionbenefitsduringtheperiodoftimeinwhichtheFirefighterisanactiveVolunteerFirefighteroftheDepartment.However,duringtheperiodtheVolunteerFirefighterisreceivingapensionandisactingasanactiveVolunteerFirefighter,theFirefightershallnotreceiveservicecreditforpurposeofincreasingsuchpension.//d9vIayorTownClerk
