HomeMy WebLinkAboutRESOLUTION 03-0400RESOLUTIONNO.3-04WHEREAS,bytheStatutesoftheStateofColorado,the6thdayofApril,2004isfixedasthetimeforaregularmunicipalelectiontoelectaMayorandthreeTrustees.WHEREAS,itisthedutyoftheBoardofTrusteestoprovidefortheholdingofsuchanelection;andWHEREAS,Section31-10-401,C.R.S.,1973,allowstheBoardofTrusteestodelegatetotheTownClerk,byResolution,theauthorityandresponsibilitytoappointtheJudgesofElection.NOW,THEREFORE,BEITRESOLVEDBYTHEBOARDOFTRUSTEESOFTHETOWNOFESTESPARK,COLORADO:1.ThataregularmunicipalelectiontoelectaMayorandthreeTrusteesshallbeheldonTuesday,April6,2004.2.ThatthegJypollingplaceshallbeintheMunicipalBuilding:Room202,MunicipalBuildingforAbsenteeWalk-InVotingfromMarch25throughApril2,2004,170MacGregorAve.,EstesPark,Colorado,Rooms202-203,MunicipalBuildingforpollingplacevoting,April6,2004(electionday),170MacGregorAve.,EstesPark,Colorado.3.ThatthepollsforAbsenteeWalk-invotingshallbeopenfrom8:00a.m.—5:00p.m.4.ThatthepollsonElectionDayshallbeopenfrom7:00a.m.-7:00p.m.5.ThattheGlobalElectronicVotingSystem“ACCUVOTE”shallbeusedinthemunicipalelectionandthattheTownClerkbeandisherebyauthorizedanddirectedtoperformallactsandfunctionsnecessaryfortheuseofsuchvotingequipmentasrequiredbythelawsoftheStateofColoradopertainingthereto. 00 006.ThatpursuanttoSection31-10-401,C.R.S.,1973,theBoardofTrusteesdelegatestotheTownClerk,byResolution,theauthorityandresponsibilitytoappointtheJudgesofElection.7.ThattheJudgesofElectionshallreceivefortheirservicesthesumof$100.00/ea.onElectionDay,$10.OOIea.forJudgesTrainingSchool,and,forthoseJudgessoassigned,$10.00/hr.forAbsenteeWalk-InVoting.8.ThattheTownClerkshall,attheexpenseoftheTown,arrangeforsuchmaterialsandsuppliesforsuchelectionasmaybenecessary.DATED th is o7ayof_ ____________ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ ____2004.TOWNOFESTESPARKyorATTEST:TownClerk 00
