Section 1.All licenses which may be issued under any ordinance of the Town of Estes Park shall be subject to the ordinances and regulations which may be in force at the time of issuing such license or which may be subsequnetly passed by the Board of Trustees of said Town;and.any person who may have a license for any purpose and shall violate any provision of any ordinance or regulation that may be in force at the time of such violation s1ali be liable to y penalty provided for in such ordnce or regulation;and also the license may be revoked by the board of Trustees and all money paid for such license eball be held as forfeited to the own. Section 2.i’o license shall be granted at any time for more than one year. Section 3.io license shall be assignable or transfer able without permison of the Board of Trustees. Section 4.Any license issued without the payment in advance to the Clerk of said Town of the full sm reqpired by ordinance for such license shall be void. Section b.All licenses shall be issued and signed by the Clerk,under the seal of the Town,pursuant to the order of the Board of Trustees,upon payment to him of the sum assessed.theref or,and no person shall be deemed to be licensed in any case,until the issuing of the license in due form. Section 6.Whenever any person or persons shall ply for any license to keep any billiard table,pool table,bagatelle table,pigeon hole table,shuffle board,pin alley or ball alley,in pursuance of the requirements of the ordinances of the Town of Estes Park,the application shall be made in writing to the Town Board and shall state the p)ace wlre such business is to be carried on. Section ‘/.An application for any other license than that provided for in the next preceding section may be oral or written and may be made to the ulerk. Section 8.Upon the entry of an order of the Board of Trustees commanding the issuance of a license in pursuance of an application therefor,and the performance by the proped licensee of what is required of hiu,it shall be the duty of the Clerk to prepare such license forthwith and issue the same to such applicant as requirea by ordinance. Section 9.Upon application for a license as expressed in section 7 of this ordinance and.the performance by the licensee of what is required of him,it shaU.be the duty F of the clerk to prepare and.issue such license forthwith,as required by ordinance. ----- —-zz-z_- Section 10.very license shall be dated as or the da.te of its issue,and shall set forth its object,and the length of time for which the same shLl be issued,with the words,“UILESS S00NiR EV0KED”,added after such designation oftime. Section 11.The conviction of a licensee under any of the ordinances of the Town for violation of any ordinance in relation to the manner of carrying on his business under his license snail be a surficient cause fr a revocation of such license,and ±or such cause the Boait(may order that the license be revoked,and upon service o wrItten notice from said board upon such licensee or upon any person having the care or charge of the place or business of such licensee i**such license shall be revoked,and the harshall or any person doing police duty may serve such notice. ection 12.The Clerk shall keep a license register in which he shall enter the name of each and every person licensed pursuant to the ordinances of the Town-the date of the license,the pu.rose br which the lice5hall have been granted,the mout paid therefor and.the time the Same will expire. 3ection 13.Whenever any license that may have been ordered to be isstd by the Board of Trustees shall expire and the person licensed shall wish the license renewed.such person may apply to the Clerk for such renewal,who shall renew the same upon the same tenns and upon the same considerations upon which it was granted,unless any member of the Board shall have notified the Clerk not to so renew it,in which case the application may be presented to the ioard,when in session for its action. section 14.Unless a separate or different penalty be in this ordinance prescribed,whoever shall vite any of the provisions 0±this ordinance shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction shall be fined not less than One doi1ar and not more than three hundred dollars. 0 LICENSS.GE.0vi.S1ol;S 1 ection 1.Any person who shall own or keep a dog within the Town of .stes .ark after the thirtieth of Jime in each year,without having a license so to do,in accordance with the provisions of this ordinance,shall upon conviction thereof be fined not less than five dollars nor more than ten dollars,for each offense,and costs. section 2.Any person desiring to keep a dog within the Town of .stes Park may be permitted to do so by paying a license fee of two dollars per animal,for each male dog,and five dollars,for each female dog so proposed to be kept. section 3.The Town Clerk shalL issue a license to any person desiring to keep a dog as aforesaid ui1 the payment in advance of the license fee,which licenses shall numbered in the order ot their issuance,aaid.the Lleri shall furnish a metal plate or tag with each license bearing the number of the license and the year of the issue of the same, which metal plate or tag the owner shall have attached to a collar to be worn by the dog so licensed ection 4.All dog licenses shall expire on the 30th day of dune each year,and it is hereby made the duty of the Marshall to make complaint to the .tolice iagistrate or Justice of the Peace having jurisdiction against all persons who fail to comply or who vilate the provisions of this ordinance,that they may be tried and fined as herein provided,and said Marshall shall,upon learning 0f any dog running at large or staying in said Town,whose owner or keeper is unIQlown to him,forthwith post two notices,one at the office of the Town Clerk and one at the .t’ost Office in sa id Town,in which notice so posted he shall give a correct descrip tion of said dog,and if no person claims,said dog and takes out a license for it,if it is subject to a license,within iour days from the posting of said notice,it shall be the duty of said.marshall to kill said dog,end.cause it to be buried at the expense of the Town. section 5.The Mayor is hereby autorized and emp— ered,whenever in his opinion it is necessarr for the safety a.welfare of the public,to require the owner of any vicious dog or dog supposed to:nave been ezosed to a rabid dog,to muzzle said dog,or confine it in some secure place, for such time as he may direct,and any person failing or refusing to cply with suon order of the ayor shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction thereof shall be fined not less than five dollars nor more than fifty dollars. __. 4IJjjJ. Section 1.It shall not be lawful for the keeper of any theatrical or other exhibition,motion picture theatre, show or amusement,to exhibit or cause to be exhibited within this Town any such exhibition,picture show or amusement,with out a license therefor first obtained accoräing to the provisions of this ordinance. Section 2.For a license to exhibit a theatrical exhibi tion,concert,musical entertainment,motion picture show,ex hibition of rope or viire dancing,pugilism or any other show or amusement,there shall be paid tne ±ollowing license fees: Fifteen (*15)dollars,for four months. Five (*5)dollars,±or one month. wo &50/100 dollars,for one week. Two f2)dollars,for one day; and license shall be made to expire accordingly. Section 3.No license shall be recuired for any exhibition,show or amusement given by the citizens of the Town for benevolent,educational or charitable purposes or for the purpose 0±aiding some üenevolent,educational or religious organization. Section 4.Whoever shall violate or fail to comply with any o±the provisions of this Article shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction thereof shall 1e fined,not less than five dollars nor more than one hundred oollars. F LIC:E3. IL44 ARTICLE 4. Section 1.No person,firm or COTuoratiofl shall for pay,hire or reward carry any person or persons)in any automobile or other motor vehicle of any kind or description upon any of the streets or puDlic highways of the Town of Estes Park;nor shall &ry. person,firm or corporation engaged in carrying passengers in any automobile or other motor vehicle of any kind stand or stop such vehicle on any of the streets,hiahways or-alleys of said Town for the iurpose of hire,trade or business or for the purpose of soliciting trade or business;or engage in the business of a carrier of persons or passengers,unless he,they or it shall first secure a license from said Town as hereinafter provided so to do. Section 2.There shall be paid to the Town by the person, lirm or corporation applying for each such license the follow ing fees; By each person,firm or corporation operating an automobile or other motor vehicle for carrying passengers,the sum of twenty-five (25)dollars,per annum,for an automobile or other motor vehicle of not exceeding (5)passenger carry ing capacity,and for an automobile or other motor vehicle having a passenger carrying capscity in excess of five passen ger,the sum of five (5)aollars,per annum,additionaL for each additional passenger crring capcity;orovided that the maximum license fee shall not exceed and no license charge shall be made in excess of ±4ty dollars for anyone automobile. Section 4.Any person,±irm or corporation applying for a license under the Drovisions of this rticle snail execute a bond to the Town of Estes Prk in ‘ne)enal stun of five hundred. (5OO)with tro or more sureties,or with one rurety,if a surel company,to be approved by the Clerk,conditioned that the part so licensed shall faith±ally observe and keep all the ordinance; pased and to be assed during the period of such license,re lting to the business in which such licensee is engaged under the provisions of this Article,and will pay all damages that may accrue to any person by reason of any fraud,deceit or mis conduct in managing said business. Section 5.Upon the issuance of any euch license as pro vided.for under -sect icn 2 nereof the Town Clerk shall aeliver to the licensee one tin or metal license tag for each automobile or motor vehicle covered by said license,which tag shall at all times during which said auto mobile or other motor vehicle is in service be conspicuously lced thereon;and upon the revocation of any such license the said tags shall be returned to the Clerk or otherwise prop ly accounted for. Section 6.No license issued hereunder shall be assigued or transferred without the consent of the Clerk,and no licenSE shall be for a less period,than one year. Section 7.Any person using the streets,highways or alle of said Town for the ‘‘urposes provided in this Article shall at all times be under the control and subject to the rules and regulations of the Marshall or other person doing police duty, and shdll occupy such parts of the streets,highways or alleys in soliciting business as shallbe afloted by such Marshall or person doing police duty. Section 8.Any chaffeur,driver or other person engaged i the business provided for in this Article,without such licens as is herein provided shall be fined not less tnan fifteen ——I IL ___ _____- 3 Licenses Art 4.Autos f 15)dollars,nor more than three hundred dollars. PEDDLERS i ARTIClE 5. Section 1.Io person shall carry on the business of peddler rithin this town without a license therefor first 05- tamed according to tlie)provisions of this article. Section 2.for a license to carry on the business of peddling there shall be paid for one day the stun of two dollars; for one week the sum of ten (lO)doUars;for one month the sum of twenty—iive (p25)dollars. •Section 3.Whoever shall violate any of the provisions of this article shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor,and, upon conviction thereof,be fined not less than five nor more more than twenty-five (C25)dollars. Section 4.Ho provisions of this article shall be con strued to apply to any person or persons bringing food products to this town for sale either in bulk or by retail from house to house,orovided said food products were grown or raised by the person or persons so having them for sale and are products of the State of Colorado.Any peddler within this town having procured license as recuired by section one of this article iall keep said license constantly in view and in such posilion that it can be readily seen while he is engaged in the business of peddling. II I I ________ -•I I I I7 ] Section 1.It shall not he lawful for ny person to conduct any street pop corn stand or to carry oit the ijusiness of keeper for gain or hire vithin the town of any billiard table,pool taole,pin alley,shooin gallery,or any table on which games are layed with balls,without a license there first obtiined according to the provisions of this orcinance. Section 2.For a license for twelve months to keep on table of any kind mentioned in section one 0±this article,on pin alley,one bEll alley,one shooting gallery ten (‘lO) dollars snail be paid for twelve months;for license for each additional taole or alley,two and 50/100 dollars or twelve months;for license to keep one pop corn stand twn.(10) dollars stall be paid for twelve months. t. f’ r ••— ;• •(..
