AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 17.56.030
OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE TOWN OF ESTES
PARK,COLORADO,RELATING TO SPECIAL REVIEW
SITE PLANS AND APPLICATIONS.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE TOWN
OF ESTES PARK,COLORADO:
Section 1.Section 17.56.030 of the Municipal Code
of the Town of Estes Park,Colorado,is hereby amended to
read as follows:
17.56.030 Site plan and application requirements.
The application shall be filed in duplicate,and shall be
signed by the property owners and lien holders,or by their
duly authorized representatives,as evidenced by a duly exe
cuted and acknowledged power of attorney.There shall be
filed with the application,except applications for residential
uses in C—i,C—2 or I—i Zoning Districts,an original site plan
drawn in black waterproof ink on tracing cloth,drafting film
or mylar of good quality,a mylar reproducible copy and two
copies thereof,prepared by a professional engineer,or a sur
veyor,who is duly registered and licensed by the State of
Colorado as a professional engineer or a land surveyor.The
site plan shall show the location of all buildings and other
improvements to be placed on the real property;off—street park
ing areas;location and course of all ways for ingress and
egress to all buildings or structures;and all off—street load
ing areas,service and refuse areas,major screening proposals,
signs,outdoor lighting and pedestrian areas,if any.The site
plan shall also show thereon the date or dates that such phase
of the development included in the site plan will be completed.
There shall also be filed with the site plan four written copies
of all proposed landscaping,if any.The landscaping may be
shown on the site plan in lieu of the foregoing written pro
posal.The owners and lien holders of the real property
described in the application for special review and shown on

the site plan shall sign the following agreement to be placed
on the site plan:
The undersigned agree that the real property
described in the application for special
review filed herewith,and as sho-.rn on this
site plan,shall be subject to the provisions
of Title 17 of the Municipal Code of the Town
of Estes Park,Colorado,and any other ordinances
of the Town of Estes Park pertaining thereto.

Section 2.The board of trustees of the town of Estes
Park,Colorado,herewith finds,determines and designates that
this ordinance is necessary for the immediate preservation of
the public peace,health and safety for the regulation of
special review procedures affects the public peace,health and
safety,and whereas in the opinion of the board of trustees an
emergency exists,this ordinance shall take effect and be in
force five (5)days after its final passage,adoption and
publication.

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
Notice is hereby given that the Board of Trustees of the Town of
Estes Park,Colorado,will hold a public hearing at 7:30 P.M.on May 9,
1973,in the Town Hall on the following proposed amendment to the
Municipal Code of the Town of Estes Park,at which time parties in
interest and citizens shall have an opportunity to be heard:
That Section 17.56.030 is amended to read as follows:
17.56.030 Site plan and application requirements.
The application shall be filed in duplicate,and shall be signed by the
property owners and lien holders,or by their duly authorized representa
tives,as evidenced by a duly executed and acknowledged power of attorney.
There shall be filed with the application an original site plan drawn in
black waterproof ink on tracing cloth,drafting film or mylar of good
